Pet Vitamin and Supplement Recall
Monday, July 5th, 2010**RECALL** United Health Products has expanded their pet vitamin recall to include more products including nutritional supplements labeled with the Petco and Dr. Foster and Smith brands, Excel and Pro-Pet. Nature’s Miracle Pet Mess Easy Clean Up is also being recalled. The products are sold nationally and through mail order channels.

Natural Balance recalls Sweet Potato & Chicken formula
Saturday, June 19th, 2010Natural Balance has announced a limited recall of its dry Sweet Potato and Chicken formula because of the potential of salmonella contamination.
The recall affects the 5 and 28 pound sizes of food with a “Best By” date of June, 17, 2011.

Iams cat food recall
Thursday, June 10th, 2010Procter and Gamble, the manufacturer of Iams, has announced a recall on all 3 oz and 5.5 oz. varieties of canned Iams ProActive Health cat and kitten food.
The recall was launched as a result of diagnostic testing which showed insufficient levels of thiamine in the foods.

Nature’s Variety Expands recall
Monday, March 8th, 2010Nature’s Variety has expanded its recall on frozen Chicken products. The recall was initially limited to a single batch run of product. It has now been expanded to include ALL frozen raw Chicken product with a “Best if used by date” of Feb. 5, 2011 or earlier.
The recall does not currently affect any non-chicken products.
