As a STAR Member, you will automatically be enrolled in a Frequent Buyer program which allows you to earn free food just by continuing to purchase as you have been in the past. (Sorry, Prescription Diets are NOT eligible for Frequent Feeder programs).
If the manufacturer of the food you are using offers a Frequent Buyer program, you will be given enrollment materials for that program. Typically, these programs require you to track the date and type of food purchase you make on a card. Some require you to save UPC seals, others do not.
Once you have purchased the required number of bags (10-12, depending on the manufacturer) you return the completed card to us, or mail it to the manufacturer, depending on the program’s requirements. Your next bag of food will be FREE!
If your manufacturer does not offer a program, you will be given a STAR Feeder card. Just track the dates of your food deliveries on this card, and return it to us after 12 purchases. Your next bag of food will be FREE.
For all manufacturer programs, please follow instructions carefully to qualify properly for your free bag.
For the STAR Frequent Feeder Program, the value of your Free bag will be equal to the average size bags which are reflected on the completed card.
For example, let’s say your completed card reflects purchases of six 30 lb. bags of a food, two 15 lb. bags, and four 40 lb. bags. The total weight of your 12 bags is 370 lbs. The average bag size from your completed card is 30 lbs (370 lbs. divided by 12 bags).
