Woofstock 2010 gives pets a chance to try new food products and enjoy
complimentary nail clippings and massages.
SEATTLE, WA–What do adoptable dogs, adorable alpacas and intriguing amphibians have in common? They’ll all be represented by vendors at Woofstock 2010, the annual Smiley Dog Open House on Sat. Dec. 4 from 12:00-4:00pm.
More than 22 vendors will provide pet food samples, freebies and information during the 3rd annual Woofstock in Edmonds, WA. Woofstock gives pets a chance to taste new natural and healthy foods from numerous vendors while the owners learn about the ingredients and benefits. The event offers free nail clippings from Cascade Pet Hospital and mini massages from Hands to Paws. Photos with Santa from Magic Photo, spins on the prize wheel, munchies and educational information about various products round out the event. Five percent of all purchases made at Woofstock will be donated to three pet-friendly causes including Old Dog Haven, Just Frogs, Toads Too Amphibian Center and PAWS.
Pets and their owners are invited to the colorful 60’s themed event on Saturday, December 4 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Smiley Dog warehouse located at 23303 Highway 99 in Edmonds, Washington. Admission is free. The event features local companies including Dining Dog, LifeLine Pet Nutrition, WildSide Salmon, DERMagic, Methow Dog, NW Naturals, Positive Dog Training, The Plaid Alpaca, Tiny Growl, and The Whole Pup. National companies Canidae, Addiction, Merrick, NRG, Precise and World’s Best litter will also be present.
“Woofstock is a fun way for pet owners to discover new foods and products which can help their pets live healthier and happier,” says Craig Weindling, owner of Smiley Dog and producer of Woofstock. “We do this in our daily conversations, but the event offers an opportunity to talk with other experts, save some money and research high quality products while letting their pet sample them right then and there.”
More information about the event is available at www.smileydog.com.
